Acceleration and Radiation of High Energy Particles in the Universe
Motivated by observations of a variety of high-energy phenomena, our group focuses on the study of high-energy particle acceleration, transport, and radiation mechanisms, and explores the relevant plasma physics processes. In particular, we carry out detailed multi-wavelength studies of supernova remnants (SNRs), solar flares, and low luminosity super-massive black-holes, advance the scenario of SNR origin of Galactic cosmic rays, address the 3He enrichment phenomenon in impulsive solar energetic particle events via resonant wave-particle interactions, and predict the millimeter images of the super-massive black-hole in the center of our Milky Way galaxy. Our researches include data analyses, theoretical modeling, and numerical simulations.
