Abstract: Artificial intelligence has revolutionized the analysis of large-scale data in particle physics, significantly enhancing the discovery potential for new fundamental laws of nature.

In this talk, I will survey the rapidly evolving role of AI in particle physics, highlighting recent developments and their impact on collider and non-collider experiments.

Prospects towards a large-scale, general-purpose foundation model tailored for particle physics will also be discussed.
