Title: Stationary Solutions of Einstein Equation

Abstract: A fundamental equation in general relativity is the Einstein equation. In this talk, I will discuss two problems on a special class of solutions to Einstein equation in the vacuum case. These solutions were used to study black holes etc. and have been a driving force in mathematical theory of general relativity.
