Abstract: High-resolution spectroscopy of planet- hosting stars provides an important pathway for studying the formation and evolution of exoplanetary systems. Precise stellar chemical abundances can reveal the birth environment of planets, signatures of planet formation, and the long-term interactions between stars and planets. In this talk, I will present recent results from large ground-based telescopes and dedicated surveys, including high-precision abundance studies of stars of various types, binaries, and open clusters with planetary systems. I will discuss how stellar abundances can be used to constrain the formation locations of planets, the architecture of planetary systems, and possible signatures of planet engulfment or dynamical evolution.
