Abstract: SMBHs can strongly enhance the local dark matter density in theirsurroundings due to their strong gravity. This enhancement cansignificantly amplify dark matter-related processes, and make potentialsignals more detectable than in other astrophysical environmentsRecent breakthroughs in stellar dynamics in Galactic Centre(GRAVlTY/Keck), horizon-scale black hole imaging(EHT),stochasticgravitational-wave background (PTAs),and early-Universe galaxyobservations (JWST) provide powerful, complementary probes of theenvironment around SMBHs. In this talk,l will discuss how thesemultimessenger observations can be used to search for signatures ofdark matter near SMBHs, including WlMPs, ultralight dark matteraxion-like particles, and primordial black holes.l will highlight howdark matter may influence the SMBHs observations, and how SMBHScan serve as unigue laboratories for testing dark matter physics.
