Abstract: The Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) serves as an invaluable key to unraveling broader cosmological processes and the evolution of the Milky Way. It has been recognized that gravitational interactions between the LMC and the Milky Way’s halo can induce dynamical perturbations, illuminating the LMC’s orbital history and contributing to our knowledge of the MW halo properties, such as halo mass distribution and shape. In this work, we delve into these dynamical perturbations by constructing a large grid of high-resolution simulations of the MW-LMC merger and further investigate how they evolve with key model parameters.
