MAO Ruiqing (1969- ), Party Secretary and Deputy Director. He received B.Sc. from Nanjing University in 1990 and Ph.D. from Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2000. He joined PMO in 1990, and visited Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy (MPIfR) in 1998, 2000 and 2008, and Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics Academia Sinica (ASIAA) in 2001, 2002 and 2007. He has been a research professor in astrophysics at PMO since 2002. Now he is the party secretary and deputy director of PMO.
