ZHAO Changyin (1966- ), Director. He received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. from Nanjing University in 1988 and 1993. He came to Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) as a postdoctoral research fellow in 1993, and joined the PMO faculty in Astrometry and Celestial Mechanics in 1995. He was then made a research professor and the chief scientist of Celestial Mechanics Division at PMO in 1998 and 2002. Dr. Zhao served as the director assistant of PMO from November 2010 to December 2013, the deputy director of PMO from January 2014 to September 2020. He has worked as the director of PMO since September 2020 and the president of Nanjing Branch of CAS since April 2023.
