The 2012 annual "Top Ten Astronomical Technology Progresses" are announced, which is a nationwide competition contest organized by the National Astronomical Observatories, CAS and the Chinese Astronomical Society together. All four outcomes recommended by the Purple Mountain Observatory are selected, including: 1) The Chang-e II exploring experimental mission measured Tutadisi orbit accurately, which obtains important applicable results; 2) For the first time made high-resolution images of the solar helium line at 10830 Angstron, and detected the hyperfine structures of the upward energy flows; 3) The research on the terahertz quantum cascade laser technology got breakthrough progress; 4) Chang E II gamma spectrometer research made new progress.
