  • The First Session of the Fourth Academic Committee and Working Conference of the Key Laboratory of Radio Astronomy of CAS Held in Nanjing

     May 8-9, 2012, the first session of the fourth academic committee and working conference of the Key Laboratory of Radio Astronomy of Chinese Academy of Sciences held in Nanjing.

    In the academic committee conference on May 8th, All commissaries listened carefully to the working reports of the headquarters and each department of the laboratory, and the reports about frequency protecting project, 65m radio telescope in Shanghai, 5m THz telescope in the Antarctic, the 110m telescope in Xinjiang, “The Galaxy Scroll” plan, China-ART plan and BeSSe plan. After the reports, commissaries seriously discussed each of the work have done this year. In the conference on May 9th, topics were mostly focused on the laboratory operation and management, funds arrangement, future development and some other issues.

    The vice-director of National Astronomical Observatories of CAS, Hao Jinxin, was invited to this conference. He praised the Key Laboratory of Radio Astronomy for their great work during these years, and wished they can get further achievement.
