Dr. Yasushi Ogasaka from Japan science and Technology Agency (JST) paid a visit to the Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of sciences (PMO, CAS) on March 7, 2011.

GAN Weiqun, deputy director of PMO, organized a symposium where he reviewed PMO’s cooperation with Japanese universities and research institutes, especially the progress of cooperative projects with JST.

After the symposium, Dr. Yasushi Ogasaka was shown around the Millimeter and Sub-Millimeter Wave Laboratory of PMO.

JST is an integrated organization of science and technology in Japan that establishes an infrastructure for the entire process from the creation of knowledge to the return to the society.
