They acknowledged the project team for accomplishing the construction and development in such a short time, and encouraged the team to keep trying to ensure success of the synthetic test of supporting platform in the plateau.
Antarctic Dome A supporting platform system will provide the power supply for the whole Dome A station, and will support the remote control system, database storage, and the communication system of the Antarctic observatory, which is prepared for the coming the 12th Five Year Program of China. Purple Mountain Observatory has been collaborating with Southeast University for the development of the Antarctic platform since 2009. The first testing platform system has passed the plain test recently, which output power is up to 2 KW. The plateau synthetic test will focus on the overall performance, reliability and stability etc., which are the essential key tests before the system will be moved to Antarctic Dome A.
