Abstract: Galaxy clusters are the largest gravitationally bound objects in the Universe and as such they provide a host environment for testing both cosmology models and theories of galaxy evolution. In this talk, I will introduce the 300 galaxy cluster project, which includes over 300 galaxy clusters selected from a cosmological MultiDark simulation. These clusters regions (radius 15Mpc/h) are resimulated by different hydro-simulation codes. Furthermore, the same cluster catalogue (in the same zoom-in regions) from three different Semi-Analytical Models, which were run for the parent MultiDark simulation, will provide us additional information on the theoretical galaxy formation models. In this talk, I will present the whole dataset, briefly discuss our findings in several different aspects, encourage people to get involved and use this catalogue.
