Abstract In this talk I will briefly introduce the MIGHTEE survey, one of the MeerKAT large survey projects. The MeerKAT radio telescope is a precursor to the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) and will be integrated into the mid-frequency component of SKA Phase 1. The MeerKAT International GHz Tiered Extragalactic Exploration (MIGHTEE) survey will be conduced over 20 square degrees of well-studied extragalactic fields, i.e., COSMOS, XMM-LSS, ECDFS, and ELAIS-S1. I will introduce the current progress and preliminary results of MIGHTEE survey and display some of the results from our ongoing project on identifying multi-wavelength counterparts to the MIGHTEE radio sources. Combining it with my previous research projects, I will also give a short introduction of the science projects that I am involved in or leading based on the MIGHTEE survey.
