| Abstract:In this talk, I will first give a short introduction of stellar evolution (including effects of rotation and in binaries), black hole (BH) study in two binary systems (double BH systems and high-mass X-ray binaries), as well as the spin of the BH. From the observational point of view, the BH spins in coalescing binary BHs seem to be in contradiction with the ones observed in high-mass X-ray binaries (HMXBs). Various double BH formation channels have been proposed since the first gravitational wave event GW150914 was detected. I will show that the currently observed 10 events can be explained by isolated binary evolution through common envelope channel. For 3 HMXBs with BH spin measurements, I will then present that Case-A mass transfer channel can explain their formation histories. In order to explain the observed extremely high BH spins, the angular momentum transport inside the He star (BH progenitor) should be inefficient, or the weak winds of He star are needed. In the end, I will briefly talk about our ongoing work, i.e., the conditions for chemically homogeneous evolution that has also been proposed as another double BH formation channel. |
