The University of Sydney's Sydney Institute for Astronomy (SIfA) is undertaking internationally renowned research utilizing the latest technologies and techniques. SIfA is also the headquarter of CAASTRO, the ARC centre of Excellence for All-sky Astrophysics. In this talk, I will show some of the research being done in SIfA, such as the ongoing largest IFU galaxy surveys, the cosmological simulations, and the projects related with SKA. I will also demonstrate how to apply for PhD study in SIfA.
