    Abstract
Our group of the University of Tokyo is conducting in-house development of a hot electron bolometer (HEB) mixer for ground-based observations of the atomic and molecular lines in the THz frequency region in order to explore chemical evolution along the star and planet formation. The 0.9/1.4 THz heterodyne receiver for the ASTE 10 m telescope in Chile has been assembled by use of our HEB mixer. A commissioning run at the telescope in the last month was quite successful, and we are anticipating the scientific operation next year. In this talk, I will mainly introduce our continuing efforts on this project.
