Abstract: LISA Pathfinder (LPF) is the precursor mission of LISA (Laser Interferometer Space Antenna) and the first step towards gravitational waves detection in space. The main instrument onboard the mission is the LTP (LISA Technology Package) whose scientific goal is to test LISA’s key technologies by reaching a differential acceleration noise level between two masses in geodesic motion of 3×10-14 ms-2/√Hz in the milliHerz band. The mission is not only challenging in terms of technology readiness but also in terms of data analysis. For that reason, a dedicated objected oriented Matlab Toolbox, the LTPDA, has been set up by the LTP analysis team. In this talk I will describe the main characteristics of LTPDA and I will also show some results obtained with this tool during the LTP Mock Data Challenges, a series of data analysis exercises with simulated LTP-like data.
