    Research results

    ·  Since 2005, groups published over 60 research papers in field of dynamic evolution of exoplanetary systems, asteroid detection, planetary physics, meteor astronomy, planetary ephemeris and orbital optimization design, most of them for the SCI papers, and gave more than 50 articles report to the international and domestic meetings. Papers have been cited a total of over 200 times in recent years.

    ·  Outstanding group in second stage of innovation evaluation in 2005

    ·  In 2006, success in telescope test observation and we gained gratifying results. The "top ten technology progress in astronomy"

    ·  In 2007, the research of exoplanetary appeared in the "top ten technology progress in astronomy"

    Telescope observation results:

Telescope has been put into test observation for two years, and found more than 500 new asteroids (a Apollo-type near-Earth asteroid) and a Jupiter family comet. We report the asteroid observational data, which have the highest accuracy, to the IAU MPC, and we are the first eight observation station in the world in more than 400 observation stations. Xuyi observation station has been one of the most influential stations in international observation network. There is an exclusive interview with “Preparing for Doomsday” published in American magazine Science (Vol. 319, 2008), and give a detailed introduction on the NEO exploration project in PMO.
